Today in tragedy Kutch district, many Common crane birds were found dead in a mysterious condition near Baniari village in Great Rann of Kutch. Locals claimed that the number of dead birds could be around thousand including egrets and cranes.
56 migratory birds found dead in Bhachau at Baniari village, last night hailstorm at Baniari village boundary might be the reason. 17 birds are feared to be injured. Wounded birds have been sent to hospital for treatment.
On reporting by Baniari Sarpanch, team of forest department and animal lovers have reached the site.
