BJP president Amit Shah, and FM Arun Jaitley displayed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s B.A. degree and M.A. degree in a press conference in New Delhi, after Arvind Kejriwal Delhi Chief Minister raised questions on PM Modi’s educational qualifications. Shah informed that the PM had obtained his B.A. degree from Delhi University and his M.A. degree from Gujarat University. Kejriwal has not only lowered the standards of public life, but he has also defamed the nation, said Shah. He was hesitant to display the country’s Prime Minister’s degree in a conference like this, added Shah.
Kejriwal had blamed the Delhi University’s records showed that PM Modi had never enrolled in the university, contradicting the PM’s claim that he obtained his Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from DU. “It emerges that he has done neither a BA nor an MA. Both degrees are fake. Firstly, he lied to the entire country, secondly, he lied in an affidavit and thirdly, the degrees are forged. This is a case of cheating. If the PM is accused of cheating under (IPC section) 420, this is a serious matter,” he added.
