33 citizens of Gujarat arrive at Ahmedabad airport ; who were deported from America

Today all 33 citizens of Gujarat who returned from America were safely taken to their native from Ahmedabad airport with the help of police. Based on residential details of 33 citizens, a Nodal Officer was appointed by the police of concerned district. All citizens were safely taken to their home in a government vehicle. For Security and proper coordination of the citizens, a DySP level officer was deployed at Amritsar airport. Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Gujarat Home Minister Harsh Sanghvi closely dealt with issue of citizens sent back from America and gave necessary instructions to the senior officers for their Security and necessary coordination of the deported citizens from Gujarat. Out of the 104 Indian citizens who returned from America, 33 citizens are from Gujarat.

On 5 February, 2025, these citizens were brought to Amritsar Airport, where all necessary procedures for their Immigration Clearance and Verification were completed. Under the instructions of CM Bhupendra Patel and Harsh Sanghvi, state government and the police department made complete arrangements, including transportation, to safely bring back all these 33 citizens to their homes with sensitivity and empathy.

A as per directions of Gujarat  DGP Vikas Sahay, a DySP-level officer was deployed at Amritsar Airport by the Gujarat Police Department for the ensured security and proper coordination of the 33 citizens of Gujarat.

After completing the immigration clearance and verification process at Amritsar, all 33 citizens of Gujarat were brought to Ahmedabad via Delhi flight. Today morning they arrived at 6:10 am in Ahmedabad.
