Today in near Seventh Day School Hatkeshwar area at Ring Road in Ahmedabad city, nose of a 17 year old boy was cut with thread. The boy was rushed to LG Hospital in Maninagar. He got 10 stitches on the nose and cheek.
It is learnt that Chinese thread is used during Uttarayan which turns out very deadly on victims.
There were 3042 cases of accidents in Gujarat including 511 accidents in Ahmedabad, 236 accidents in Surat, 191 accidents in Vadodara, 159 accidents in Rajkot during Uttarayan, as per sources.
