Today in Ahmedabad, 3 laborers died of suffocation during cleaning tank in Laxcon steel company near Sari Patiya on Bawla Changodar highway.
At 12:30 pm two laborers entered into tank, when they did not come out third one entered in the gas tank. After one hour all of them came out and suffered suffocation.
Three laborers died due to suffocation while cleaning a gas tank and two more laborers were seriously injured. Two injured laborers have been admitted to private hospital.
It is learnt that no safety measures were followed by the company.
Bawla police has sent dead body three laborers for post mortem and started further investigation. Primarily police believes reason of death of laborers as suffocation due to gas but it could be a case of gas leakage.
Media is refrained from entering the company premises. Copmany management is not allowing family members of victim laborers to meet media persons.
