Today 262 EVM Electronic Voting Machines have been brought to Jasdan for upcoming by-polls. 126 polling booths have been declared as sensitive.
There is a tough contest between BJP’s Kunvarji Bawaliya and Congress’ Avsar Nakiya. Winning Jasdan seat is a prestige issue for both the parties and hence both are applying full force and closely monitoring the preparations and moves.
Speaking on the election Patidar leader Hardik Patel is not campaigning for Congress for Jasdan by-polls said Nakiya.
Voting for Jasdan by-polls is on December 20 (Thursday) and vote counting on December 23 (Sunday). Voting in Jasdan will be done using EVMs and VVPATs.
Jasdan post fell vacant as Koli leader and Congress MLA Kunvarji Bawaliya resigned from the post in July and joined BJP.
