2500 Sevasetu programs in Gujarat says Bhupendra Patel

Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has taken an important decision to resolve representations of citizens of Gujarat. It has been decided to hold the seventh phase of the Seva Setu program to make problems and representations of people transparent and speedy. Let it be known that this program was running earlier. During Vijay Rupani’s tenure, the program was conducted in 3 phases.


As per this decision of the Chief Minister, during 22 October to 5 November in seventh phase of Sevasetu program, 2500 Sevasetu will be organized two days every week i.e. Friday and Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm. In these programs, about 56 services of 13 different departments of the government will be provided in the camps organized on the spot.


The Sevasetu program includes camps at designated locations in villages and cities. As well as after this only there the problem of the person is solved. For such Sevasetu program, it is planned to organize a camp at village level between 6 to 8 villages as well as 4 to 10 Sevasetu in urban areas in metropolitan areas, a unit of 4 to 5 wards in municipal areas and 2 to 3 Sevasetu programs in all municipalities.

State Government will make arrangements to provide necessary facilities like notary, Xerox, computers, printers, photography at Sevasetu program venue. At the same time, proper arrangements will be made for senior citizens and disabled persons.
Till now 6 successful phases of Sevasetu have been planned in the state. During Vijay Rupani’s tenure, the scheme provided various services to 2.60 crore people at their door step. Now that the program is going to be held in the seventh phase, it is hoped that the issues of people will be resolved.
