VADODARA: In a group collision took place near Rawpura Tower in the city after a late night accident. Two bikes collided late at night around 11.30 am which was followed by a heated exchange between them. There was also a stone-throwing between two groups of comrades. In which three people sustained minor injuries. Crowds froze from Rawpura Tower to Jubilee Bagh due to stone pelting. There was outrage among the locals after the incident. Mob smashed idol of SaiBaba at Kothi Pol. Along with this more than 10 vehicles and lorries were vandalized. However, locals say that the stone throwers were not from our area but some strangers.
Vadodara police has arrested 20 people in connection with group clash. Vadodara police commisioner has appealed people to keep away from spreading rumours about the incident.
