In Gujarat, total 1075 cases of Swine Flu have been registered. Swine Flu cases are on rise.
Today, 159 new cases were registered including 53 in Ahmedabad, 24 in Surat, 21 in Vadodara and 21 n Kutch and other places.
Death toll reaches 10, including 4 in Bhavnagar, 2 in Amreli and 1 each in Rajkot, Ahmedabad and Surat. Swine Flu cases appeared in Gujarat since January of this year.
14 Swine Flu positive patients ran away from Civil Hopsital Ahmedabad, as per sources.
As a relief measure, Chief Secretary of Health Department, Gujarat has held meeting with district Collectors, DDOs and Municipal Commissoners through Video Conference. So far, 17 lakh people are from highly affected areas. Entire population will be surveyed through House To House Survey by this weekend.
Total death toll due to Swine Flu reaches 108.
