In Surat, 14 persons were killed in road accident by truck as it ran over labourers sleeping on the pavement.
Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has expressed his condolences to the families of labourers who lost their lives due to the incident of dumper running over them who were sleeping on the pavement in Surat last night. The Chief Minister has also announced assistance of Rs. 2 lakhs by the state government to every worker who died in the tragic incident.
PMO and CMO has expressed grief over killing of 14 people in Surat through their tweeter handle. CMO has announced relief of Rs 2 lakhs to victimfamilies in the accident.
Police has reached the site and started further investigation.
