104th Organ Donation took place in Civil Hospital Ahmedabad. In Ahmedabad Civil Hospital brain dead patient Parsottam Vora family made Organ donation and saved 3 new lives.
In this case received donation of organs including two kidneys and a liver. As a result of increasing awareness of Organ Donation, rate of Organ Donation has increased in Gujarat.
Due to pro-active humanitarian efforts of Ahmedabad Civil Hospital Superintendent Dr. Rakesh Joshi, there have been 104 Organ Donations in the Civil Hospital, In which a total of 338 organs were donated and 313 needy patients life was saved.
