10 dead in tragic road accident on Ahmedabad’s Bavla-Bagodra highway; PM,CM express grief

Today 10 people dead in a tragic accident on Ahmedabad’s Bavla-Bagodra highway near Mithapur village.

Chhota Hathi tempo rammed in a truck of Madhya Pradesh parked on highway due to tyre puncture/burst.

Five women, two men and three children were killed in the deadly accident. Wounded people have been shifted for treatment to nearby hospital. Police had reached the spot.

A family of Sundha village in Kapadwanj district was returning after getting darshan at Chotila in Chhota Hathi met with a deadly road accident.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi (PMO) and Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi has expressed grief over the ghastly incident through a tweeter post. PM Modi announced ex-gratia payment of Rs 2 lakhs to bereaved family.

Gujarat Health Minister Rushikesh Patel visited injured people in road accident on Bavla-Bagodra Highway in Ahmedabad district; injured people undergoing treatment at Ahmedabad Civil Hospital.
