The controversial Land Acquisition Bill was introduced by the government in the Lok Sabha today amid vociferous protests by an NDA ally as also the entire opposition. Almost the entire opposition staged a walk-out calling the bill “anti-farmer and anti-poor”.
Today afternoon in Ahmedabad, at 1 pm massive fire was reported at Jagdamba Polymers in Dholaka GIDC today. Total 15 firefighters inlcuding 6 from Sanand were rushed to the spot to extinguish the fire. The cause of fire is not yet known. Fire still not under control. No reports of casulaties have come up.
